Financial Aid & Scholarships
Attention Compton College Students:
If you applied for financial aid for the 2019-2020 year at Compton College and used the old school code 001188, you will need to log into the FAFSA at https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa and change the code on your application to 042817.
Students who completed a California Dream Act Application will continue to use the old school code 0119701.
We apologize for any inconvenience. The change in school codes was part of the transition process and separation from El Camino College. For those students who did not apply for financial aid, you may disregard this email.
The code needs to be changed as soon as possible for Compton College to process your 2019-2020 financial aid applications. Compton College will not have access to your financial aid applications and your financial aid award will not be processed without the correct school code.
If you have any questions, please stop by the Financial Aid Office in E-17, or call 310-900-1600, ext. 2935 or send an email to email@example.com.
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid, even if you don't think you will qualify. If you think you need help paying for fees, books and other expenses, you should apply. Citizens and eligible non-citizens can complete the FAFSA, while other non-citizens can complete the California Dream Act Application (CADA) instead.
