Steps to Enrollment
- Complete a Compton Online Application with OpenCCCapply. Upon completion of your online application, you will receive an email from the Admissions & Records Office with your Compton College student ID number.
- Retrieve your "It's Official! You are a Compton College Student!" email and activate your MyCompton account.
- When step #2 is completed, you can begin the registration process for DualEnroll.com.
- Create Dual Enroll account, by logging directly to MyCompton and click on K-12 Dual Enrollment Tile
- New & Returning Students click Create Account. *You’ll receive an activation code to confirm your account. If using the email option, check your SPAM/Junk folders.
- Complete the required Dual Enrollment Application: There are 8 required profile pages: Student Info, Student Number, Terms & Conditions, FERPA Consent, Programs, Parent Info, High School. For the Regular K-12 option choose your high school. If your high school is not listed, choose 'Other - School Not Listed'. You can always edit any step by logging in to your account by clicking on Profile tab to update any incorrect information on the pages.
- Now that your account is created, Course Registrations click on the Courses tab to review the list of courses. Search your high school and the available program and courses. When you’ve made your selection, click Register to start the process. Your part of the registration is done for now. You’ll receive an email letting you know when your registration is complete or if more information is needed. You may register for other courses under the Courses tab.

1. Submit an online Admissions Application. Access the application at Apply Online (compton.edu). Upon completion of your online application, you will receive an email from the admissions and records office with your Compton College student ID number. For assistance with completing the application, contact a welcome center staff at welcomecenter@compton.edu.
2. Retrieve your " It's Official! You are a Compton College Student!" email and activate your account. Enter your compton.edu email & password. Mycompton Setup Youtube Tutorial
3. Submit a K-8 Dual Enrollment application is required for each semester/session you plan to attend as a dual enrolled student. Complete a K-8 Dual Enrollment Application via DocuSign. Students will need to include their parents/guardians and high school designee.

- Refer to your welcome email for your Compton Student ID#
- Parental/Guardian permission is required
- High school designee will authorize courses per semester/session
- Discuss which program/courses best fit your educational goal with your parent/guardian and high school counselor. You can make an appointment with a Compton College counselor to receive prerequisite clearances if needed.
4. Ready to register for classes? Login to MyCompton and register on or after your assigned registration time ticket. Registration is based on a priority system.
