Step 3: ORIENTATION |
Orientation provides an introduction to academic programs and support services to
help you succeed. Orientation is only offered online via the MyCompton portal. Students must have an activated Compton College student email account to access the online Orientation. For more information, call the Welcome Center, ext. 2765. |
Step 4: ED PLAN |
Focus on your goal! Meet with a counselor and complete an educational plan to identify
classes that are required to complete your certificate, degree or transfer program.

Ready to register for classes? Log in to MyCompton and register for classes on or

FORMERLY INCARCERATED STUDENTS IN TRANSITION (F.I.S.T.) | The Formerly Incarcerated Students in Transition (FIST) program helps students redirect their lives and rebuild their social credibility. The program goal is to prevent recidivism. |

ESL | Non-credit courses are offered on a No-Fee (free) basis, allowing students to complete coursework in citizenship, basic skills, short-term career education, and prepares students for work by enhancing ESL skills. We also offer career-focused courses for those interested in starting a new career. These courses are called Vocational ESL (VESL). Click here for more information. |
